Curry defended his and other NBA players' activism efforts - including the use of social justice statements on their jerseys - during an interview with Craig Melvin of "TODAY."
"No, not sensitive to that at all," Curry said when asked if he's concerned about alienating fans. "I applaud every single player that's gonna take that opportunity. We're human first, and if you can't accept what we wanna talk about or what we wanna highlight or what we wanna change in our society, then don't accept us as basketball players, either."
NBA players will have the option of featuring statements on the backs of their jerseys when the season resumes. Approved terms reportedly include Black Lives Matter, Say Their Names, Vote, and I Can't Breathe.
