Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving is producing a television special about the police killing of Breonna Taylor and the #SayHerName movement.

The one-hour program - titled "#SAYHERNAME: Breonna Taylor" - is set to air Wednesday on the PlayersTV digital and broadcast network, according to a press release.

"In a time when society is calling out police brutality, social injustices, and systemic racism, it is critical to magnify how these unjust behaviors and practices are directly impacting Black women," Irving said in a statement. "I stand for Breonna Taylor, Sandra Bland, and the countless women whose names are never said but have shared the same unfortunate fate."

The special will begin with an open discussion between Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Black Lives Matter co-founder Alicia Garza, author Brittney Cooper, and activist Brittany Packnett. A conversation between Irving, rapper Common, and journalist Jemele Hill will follow.

"I will continue to champion those who are working to enact change for and to empower Black, Native, Indigenous, Hispanic, and women of color," Irving continued. "I am equally committed to creating platforms like the '#SAYHERNAME: Breonna Taylor' special that provides support, solutions, and sustainable impact."

Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency medical technician, was killed March 13 when Louisville police officers shot her eight times after entering her apartment as part of a narcotics investigation. No drugs were found in Taylor's home.

The Louisville Metro Police Department has fired one of the three officers involved in Taylor's death, but no charges have been filed.
