Clippers' Beverley treating every NBA team like Warriors with KD
Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is using the Kevin Durant-era Golden State Warriors as motivation as he prepares for the NBA's return.
During an appearance on Whistle Sports' "Work From Home" podcast, Beverley explained that he'll be viewing every team as a top competitor in the NBA's Orlando bubble.
"I'm treating everybody the same," Beverley said. "Every team I play, I'm playing them like we playing Golden State when they had Kevin Durant. Every point guard I play, I'm playing Steph Curry. Every shooting guard I'm playing, I'm playing James Harden. Every three-man I'm playing, I'm playing LeBron and KD."
The Clippers are scheduled to face the Orlando Magic on July 22 in the team's first of three scrimmages before the 2019-20 regular season resumes.
