Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard announced Tuesday that he's the cover athlete for the NBA 2K21 video game.

"It's one of those things that's like a signature shoe - everybody just don't get it," Lillard said. "To be able to join the lineup of players that have been on the cover of 2K, it's an honor."
Lillard was averaging a career-high 28.9 points and 7.8 assists before the NBA suspended play March 11.
