The New York Knicks are planning to interview Mike Woodson for the team's head coaching vacancy, SNY's Ian Begley reports.
Woodson joins a pool of candidates that includes Tom Thibodeau, Kenny Atkinson, and interim head coach Mike Miller. It was previously reported Thibodeau is the leading candidate to get the job out of the group.
The 62-year-old last coached in the NBA as an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2017-18 season.
Woodson owns a career head coaching record of 315-365. However, he went 109-79 in parts of three seasons with the Knicks from 2011-14, and helped guide the team to its only playoff series victory since 2000.
