As "The Last Dance" showed us, Michael Jordan is one to hold a grudge.

Former Washington Wizards guard Richard Hamilton shared another Jordan grudge story on the latest episode of the "All the Smoke" podcast, recalling how his former teammate, Laron Profit, was traded in 2001 after talking trash to the NBA legend during a pickup game.

"We used to talk trash to MJ all the time, but it was only certain things that I would say. And Prof would sometimes say a little bit of extra stuff that - I wouldn't go there," Hamilton said.

"I remember one time, we were playing in practice, right?" he continued. "And Prof might've hit a shot on MJ, and he was running down (the) court: 'Yeah, you can't guard me with them old-ass knees.'"

Hamilton said Jordan, who served as the Wizards' president of basketball operations prior to his NBA comeback, was "heated" over Profit's comments.

"I went into my exit meeting, (Jordan) was like, 'OK, Rip, you know, your man, your buddy ... he outta here,'" Hamilton recalled. "He said, 'But you gonna be there by yourself, and you ain't gonna have your buddy to co-sign. You're gonna be on an island by yourself.'"

The Wizards traded Profit and a first-round pick to the Orlando Magic for the draft rights to Brendan Haywood in August 2001. Profit was waived by the Magic in October of that same year and wound up rejoining the Wizards in 2004.
