Carmelo doesn't like comparisons between Jordan, LeBron

While Carmelo Anthony thinks Michael Jordan is most deserving of the GOAT title, he doesn't think that should take away from LeBron James' legacy.

The Portland Trail Blazers forward shared his thoughts on the Jordan vs. LeBron debate in an interview with Colin Ward-Henninger of CBS Sports, admitting he doesn't like comparing the two greats.

"You know, MJ is the GOAT. He's the greatest ever. We all know that and we all agree to that. Why can't we say that, but also give LeBron his flowers while he's here, too?" Anthony said. "Why can't we say, 'MJ was very great, LeBron is very great, Kobe is very great.' We're not allowed to say those things today because it's always this or that, and that's just our society - you have to choose one."

Anthony, who is signed with Jordan Brand and has known James since high school, added that it's difficult to compare the two athletes because they're "two totally different players." Still, it's unlikely the debate will end any time soon, if ever.
