LeBron, Brady partnering with Apple for docuseries 'Greatness Code'
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady are teaming up on a new series about some of the world's greatest athletes.
Apple announced Wednesday that James' Uninterrupted and Brady's Religion of Sports are coproducing the short-form documentary series "Greatness Code," premiering July 10 on Apple TV+. The series is directed by Gotham Chopra, who previously worked with Brady on Facebook Watch's "Tom vs. Time."
The first season will consist of seven mini-episodes that each examine "a pivotal moment that defined an athlete's career." James and Brady will both be featured along with U.S. women's national soccer team co-captain Alex Morgan, eight-time Olympic gold medalist sprinter Usain Bolt, Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White, five-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Katie Ledecky, and 11-time world champion surfer Kelly Slater.
