Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles isn't entirely sold on the idea of playing NBA games in an isolated location if the season were to eventually resume, given the impact it would have on his ability to spend time with those he loves most.

"That would be basically the longest I've been away from the kids - which I don't know how much I'm willing to do that, as much as I love playing basketball," the Australian told Aaron Falk of utahjazz.com on Friday.

While the possibility of playing games in a remote venue has been widely speculated, commissioner Adam Silver acknowledged last Friday the league has "only listened" to such proposals.

"Leaving them (his kids) for two or three months would be borderline impossible for me. But obviously we’ll wait until a decision is made," Ingles added.

The NBA's indefinite hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic began six weeks ago on March 11. At the time, the Jazz sat fourth in the Western Conference with a 41-23 record.
