Report: Jordan donating 'The Last Dance' earnings to charity
Michael Jordan plans to donate all of his earnings from ESPN's "The Last Dance" to charitable causes, Forbes' Kurt Badenhausen reports.
Jordan is expected to earn between $3 million and $4 million from the production, Badenhausen adds.
"The Last Dance" recounts the Hall of Famer's storied playing career, providing never-before-seen footage from the 1997-98 season when he won his sixth and final championship with the Chicago Bulls. The first two episodes of the documentary released this past Sunday averaged a whopping 6.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched documentary in ESPN history.
Episodes 3 and 4 of the 10-part series are set to air in the United States on April 26 at 9 p.m. ET. For those watching internationally, episodes will be made available on Netflix the following morning at 3 a.m. ET.
