Report: Butler has hoops delivered to Heat teammates
Jimmy G. Buckets is trying to ensure his Miami Heat teammates can get those hiatus buckets.
Jimmy Butler has shipped baskets to players who don't have them at their homes, a party close to the five-time All-Star told the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman.
The Heat revealed last week that not all players on the team have access to hoops for workouts at their homes during the COVID-19 isolation period.
However, Butler's expected deliveries may not make much immediate difference. With several Heat players living in condominiums, shooting workouts may be out of the question. They could have the equipment shipped to their permanent residences, though.
The NBA ordered all team practice facilities closed on March 20 and recommended players remain in the markets in which they play.
