Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert didn't seem all too pleased with his late ejection after getting chippy with OG Anunoby in the fourth quarter of Monday's 101-92 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

"I don't think it makes sense to me," Gobert told the media, including ESPN, after finishing with six points and four rebounds in 32 minutes. "But next time, I'll do justice myself so the official can eject me for a reason."

Both players received double technicals with under one minute remaining in regulation. Despite shoving Anunoby, Gobert felt his punishment was unreasonable because the former supposedly initiated the confrontation while racing back in transition moments earlier.

"(Anunoby) tried to elbow me in the face," the 27-year-old said. He continued: "And the guy that's getting paid to protect the other players (the official) didn't do his job. There was a little altercation, and we both got ejected when I didn't do anything back, pretty much, which I don't understand."

Toronto's victory helped the Raptors (46-18) extend their winning streak to four games. They now have a 3 1/2-game cushion over the Boston Celtics for the Eastern Conference's second seed.

The Jazz (41-23) still hold the fourth seed in the Western Conference following the loss.
