Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo nearly had a role in the new Adam Sandler drama "Uncut Gems."

Rondo revealed on Sunday that he was cast for a cameo in the movie alongside his former Boston Celtics teammate Kevin Garnett, but missed his 6 a.m. flight to filming.

"First big role, too," Rondo said, according to The Athletic's Bill Oram. "I missed the flight and I was like, 'Shit, I don't want to take a private (jet), about $95,000.' ... F----d up my debut."

Rondo's lone film credit is for the 2010 romantic comedy "Just Wright," which also featured Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, and Jalen Rose, among others.
