Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield has been fined $25,000 for kicking a ball into the stands following a win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, the NBA announced on Monday.
In the immediate moments after Marcus Smart's floater rolled off the front of the rim to seal the Kings' 100-99 victory and end Boston's 10-game win streak, Hield was shown booting the game ball multiple rows up into the stands.

He finished the contest with a season-best 35 points on 14-of-24 shooting, along with six rebounds, four steals, and two assists.
The former Oklahoma standout is averaging a team-high 19.7 points while connecting on 40.5% of his threes per game. He ranks near the top of the league in both 3-point attempts and makes.
Hield signed a four-year extension in October that could pay the 26-year-old up to $106 million if certain incentives and bonuses are met.
Sacramento owns a 5-7 record.
