Malcolm Brogdon's reunion with the Milwaukee Bucks will have to wait.

Brogdon has been ruled out for Saturday's game against his former team due to a sore back, the Indiana Pacers announced.

However, the Pacers offset the news of one starter's absence by announcing the return of another. After originally being listed as doubtful, big man Myles Turner will start Saturday's contest, marking his first appearance since he suffered a sprained right ankle Oct. 30.

Brogdon, who left the Bucks to join the Pacers via a sign-and-trade this summer, exited Friday's game against the Houston Rockets due to a sore back. Before that injury-shortened appearance, he'd averaged 20.7 points, 8.5 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game while missing just one of 49 free throws to start the year.

The next opportunity for Brogdon to face his former teammates will come Dec. 22 in Milwaukee.

Despite missing a number of key players due to injury, including two-time All-Star Victor Oladipo, who's been out since January due to a quadriceps ailment, the Pacers have managed a 7-5 record, good for sixth among their Eastern Conference foes.
