Detroit Pistons forward Markieff Morris was fined $35,000 by the NBA for directing inappropriate and offensive language toward a game official, the league announced Monday.
The incident occurred during the Pistons’ 117-111 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
On Sunday, Phoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. was fined $10,000 for a similar episode.
The 30-year-old Morris has been fined multiple times by the NBA during his career, including $15,000 last season for trying to pull down Seth Curry's shorts.
