Bogdanovic: Kings have offered max extension but 'I don't want to rush anything'
"I would like to stay," said Bogdanovic, who has one year remaining on his current deal. "Everyone knows that I love Sacramento. Everyone loves to be here. It's a great group of guys. I'm happy right now and I was happy all these years, but I don't want to rush anything."
Bogdanovic is eligible for a four-year extension that would pay him roughly $51.4 million, and he confirmed the Kings have presented such an offer. He has until June 30, 2020, to sign it or he'll become a restricted free agent.
"We will wait to see," he said. "Maybe we will sign tomorrow. Maybe we sign in a month. Who knows? We will see."
The 27-year-old has averaged 12.9 points on 37.5% 3-point shooting since joining Sacramento from Turkish squad Fenerbahce in 2017.
