Jimmy Butler's workout habits are brushing off on his teammates.

Butler made headlines earlier this week after revealing he was up at 3:30 a.m. to get some extra work in before the Heat's first practice of training camp, which got underway at 10 a.m.

Not to be outdone by Butler, Heat center Meyers Leonard rolled out of bed at 3:10 a.m. Thursday morning to join Butler and Bam Adebayo for an early workout session.

"When I catch wind that 'You're in your cute little dream and I'm working out at 3:30,' that doesn't sit well with me," Leonard told reporters, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. "That alarm went off at 3:10 this morning. I went down and got a cup of joe and was ready to rock and roll."

Leonard, Butler, and Adebayo wrapped up their workout at 5:25 a.m. and were back on the court four-and-a-half hours later for Heat practice.

While Butler enjoyed having company, he doesn't expect all of his teammates to be up that early.

"I like when guys are getting extra work in, no matter if it's 4 a.m., 6 a.m., 7 a.m.," he said. "Just love what you do and go about it as a champion."
