Heat's Adebayo destroyed by Kobayashi in cheeseburger-eating contest
It turns out competitive eating isn't Bam Adebayo's forte.
The 6-foot-10, 255-pound Miami Heat center was no match for competitive eating legend Takeru Kobayashi in a cheeseburger-eating contest Wednesday, managing to consume just one of the six burgers on his plate in five minutes. The 5-foot-8, 143-pound Kobayashi downed 20 burgers.

Adebayo didn't sound at all surprised by the result.
"It's kind of like a high school player against LeBron," he told Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "It's kind of an automatic loss."
He also thinks new Heat teammate Meyers Leonard would've fared better than he did.
"They definitely should have sent Meyers," Adebayo said. "He's one of the guys that's really into calories."
