Lin signs with Beijing Ducks of Chinese league

Jeremy Lin is taking his talents to China.

The nine-year NBA veteran signed with the Beijing Shougang Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to ESPN's Kevin Wang.

A video of Lin appeared to confirm the agreement.

Terms of the contract have not yet been announced.

The move to China was prompted after Lin failed to land a deal in the NBA through free agency.

The 31-year-old guard joined the eventual 2019 NBA champion Toronto Raptors after he was bought out by the Atlanta Hawks in the middle of last season.

Prior to 2018-19, Lin spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks.
