Footage surfaces of young Klay meeting Jordan, Pippen in 1998
Klay Thompson shared a story with reporters in May about the time he met Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen after a game in Portland in 1998.
A clip has since surfaced of the encounter (albeit without sound), showing a young Thompson and his brothers getting autographs from the Chicago Bulls legends.

Thompson's father, Mychal Thompson, played for the Portland Trail Blazers, and he grew up in Oregon before moving to California at the age of 14.
"I was really shy at the time," Thompson said of the encounter. "My dad took us back there, got to meet Michael and Scottie. I've seen the footage of it. That's probably my favorite memory, just 'cause when they came to town, it was like you had to go to that game."
