The Dallas Mavericks re-signed big man Maxi Kleber to a four-year, $35-million contract that includes a team option for the fourth season, league sources told The New York Times' Marc Stein.
Hailing from the Wurzburg, Germany - the same hometown as recently retired Mavericks icon Dirk Nowitzki - the 27-year-old Kleber has primarily served as a backup since coming to the NBA two years ago.
The 6-foot-11 big man has averaged 6.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in just under 19 minutes per game.
