The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to re-sign point guard George Hill to a three-year, $29-million deal, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The Bucks waived Hill on Friday. He was guaranteed just $1 million in the final year of his previous deal, which was worth $18 million.
Bringing Hill back gives Milwaukee a replacement for Malcolm Brogdon, as the Bucks reportedly dealt him to Indiana in a sign-and-trade after the restricted free agent agreed to a four-year, $85-million deal with the Pacers.
The Bucks have been busy in their attempt to bring back the majority of their Eastern Conference finals roster, as they reportedly plan to re-sign Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez.
Hill played a major role in the Bucks' postseason run, averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 15 playoff appearances.
