The Orlando Magic have agreed to sign forward Al-Farouq Aminu to a three-year, $29-million deal, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal includes a player option for the final year.
Aminu played a valuable role in the Blazers' playoff success last season as arguably their most reliable defensive presence. He could potentially carve out a role as Orlando's starting small forward as the Magic look to reach the postseason for a second straight year.
The 28-year-old averaged 9.4 points and 7.5 rebounds in 81 games last season.
