The New Orleans Pelicans and free-agent shooting guard JJ Redick have agreed to a two-year, $26.5-million contract, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Redick's departure from the Philadelphia 76ers is a serious blow to the team, given he was the club's best pure shooter. Redick averaged 18.1 points on 39.7 percent 3-point shooting this past season.
New Orleans will be the 34-year-old Redick's fifth NBA address.
