Rudy Gay is planning to return to the San Antonio Spurs on a two-year, $32-million deal when free agency opens, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports, citing sources.
Gay hit a career-high 40 percent of his 3-point shots this past season while averaging 13.7 points in 69 games. He turns 33 in August but has still proved to be an effective player after rupturing his Achilles in 2017.
