Bucks' Horst wins NBA Executive of the Year

Jon Horst of the Milwaukee Bucks was named the 2018-19 NBA Executive of the Year at the NBA Awards on Monday.
The general manager beat out the Denver Nuggets' Tim Connelly, L.A. Clippers' Lawrence Frank, and Toronto Raptors' Masai Ujiri.

Horst was named Bucks GM in 2017 and was expected to build a team around superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. He accomplished just that, turning the Milwaukee into a legitimate championship contender and reaching the Eastern Conference finals before falling to the eventual champion Raptors in six games.
