Golden State Warriors center Kevon Looney is starting in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors despite re-aggravating his costal cartilage fracture on Monday.
Looney initially suffered the injury in Game 2 of The Finals after landing awkwardly when Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard accidentally crashed into him during a drive to the basket.
The 23-year-old was presumed to be ruled out for the remainder of the postseason, but he miraculously returned in Game 4. However, Looney was forced to leave Game 5 early due to the injury.
He'll give the Warriors' thin frontcourt depth after averaging 6.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in 80 appearances this season.
