Injured Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant traveled to Toronto for Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals, the team confirmed to Janie McCauley of The Associated Press.
Durant has already been ruled out of Thursday's series opener due to his right calf strain.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Monday that he wasn't sure if Durant would travel with the team. Tuesday's development at least presents the possibility that Durant could suit up in Sunday's Game 2 against the Raptors.
Durant hasn't played since hurting his calf during Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets. He has been shooting on his own but hasn't practiced with teammates since the injury.
