The Cleveland Cavaliers will reportedly interview Miami Heat assistant Juwan Howard and Dallas Mavericks assistant Jamahl Mosley for their head coaching vacancy this week, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Cleveland will eventually interview other assistant coaches currently involved in the NBA playoffs, Wojnarowski adds.

The Cavs parted ways with coach Larry Drew on Thursday.

Howard's name had recently surfaced as a head coaching candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers. The onetime member of Michigan's famed Fab Five both played with and coached LeBron James with the Heat.

Mosley has been an assistant with the Mavericks for six seasons.
