Hawks' Young earns 2nd technical on staredown, gets 1st career ejection
Less than 48 hours after Friday's epic quadruple-overtime clash in Georgia, the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls were back at it Sunday afternoon. With Hawks star rookie Trae Young earning his first career ejection during the matinee, it's clear tensions between the teams are far from defused.
Young shot a deep 3-pointer over Bulls guard Kris Dunn from just in front of the Bulls' center-court logo during the third quarter of Sunday's matinee and briefly stared Dunn down after the shot found its mark.
The referees took exception, whistling the 20-year-old for his second technical foul of the game and triggering his automatic ejection.

The incident followed a first-quarter altercation between the two players, during which Dunn pushed Young in the back of the head for taking a late shot following a timeout call. The exchange triggered a brief fracas that earned both players technical fouls.

Young exited the game with 18 points and five assists in just 18 minutes of action - only slightly less than the 49-point, 16-assist double-double he posted in Friday night's loss.
