Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid has been fined $25,000 for publicly and profanely criticizing officials following Tuesday's 112-109 home loss to the Boston Celtics.

Frustrated with the whistle during the game, Embiid concluded his postgame presser by grabbing the microphone and proclaiming: "The referees f------ suck."

The 24-year-old finished with a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds in 37 minutes of action as the 76ers fell to 36-21 on the season, locking them with Boston in the standings.
