Magic Johnson had to play peacemaker between LeBron James and comedian Chris Tucker during a church service in Los Angeles.

Tucker recounted a hilarious story in a video for ESPN's "E:60," explaining that Johnson and James sat in the front row and blocked his view, which nearly led to a fight.

"I'm like, 'Y'all know y'all tall, why y'all sitting up in the front seat?' And me and LeBron almost got in a fight," Tucker said. "I said 'man, why you sitting in the front seat?' And he was like, 'They put me up here.'"

Eventually, Johnson stepped in.

"Magic got into it, said, 'Come on, Chris he just got to L.A., man. Let him live, let him enjoy church like everybody. You ain't got to see the pastor, Chris,'" Tucker recalled. "You know, I said, 'Nah, Magic, you not gonna smooth talk me with your great attitude.' Just ridiculous."
