Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant has been uncharacteristically quiet with reporters since the New York Knicks - a team Durant has been heavily linked to as a potential landing spot in free agency this summer - moved Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks.

Following Golden State's 141-102 blowout win over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, the 30-year-old forward broke his silence and revealed he's fed up with the way the media has treated him as it pertains to rumors about his future.

"I have nothing to do with the (New York) Knicks. I don't know who traded (Kristaps) Porzingis. That got nothing to do with me. I'm trying to play basketball," said Durant, according to The Athletic's Anthony Slater. "Y'all come in here every day asking me about free agency, asking my teammates, my coaches, rile up the fans about it. Let us play basketball, that's all I'm saying.

"Now when I don't want to talk to y'all, it's a problem with me. Come on, man. Grow up. Grow up. Yeah, you, grow up. Come on, bro. I come in here and go to work every day. I don't cause no problems. I play the right way. Well, I try to play the right way. I try to be the best player I can be every possession. What's the problem? What am I doing to y'all?"

Durant singled out The Athletic's Ethan Strauss - who recently wrote a story about the forward's media silence - during his postgame rant. He then continued by implying his relationship with the media is tarnished as a result of his quotes being misrepresented.

"I just don't trust none of ya'll," Durant added. "Every time I say something it gets twisted up and thrown out in so many publications try to tear me down with my words that I say. So when I don't say nothing, it's a problem. I just want to play ball. I want to go to the gym and go home. That's all. Is that a problem? Alright, then."
