Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Taj Gibson got ejected from Friday's loss to the Utah Jazz after a heated exchange with the official. And on the way out, he had more for referee James Williams.
The NBA will likely fine Gibson for the outburst. After cooling down postgame, Gibson said he planned to apologize to Williams, who he said is "like a big brother."
"You see him every day," Gibson said, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Chris Hine. "You have a relationship, sometimes tempers flare."
