The Washington Wizards will not trade Bradley Beal this season, leagues sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

However, a downturn in team performance could reportedly see the team explore trade options for Otto Porter Jr, according to Charania.

Since All-Star point guard John Wall elected to undergo season-ending surgery, Beal has led the Wizards to a 7-4 record, putting them just two games behind the eighth-seeded Charlotte Hornets for the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.

Overall, Beal is averaging 24.7 points, five assists, and five rebounds per game, and is likely to be named to his second straight All-Star Game next month.

The 25-year-old is in the third season of a five-year, $127.2-million contract, which will see him make an average of $27.1 million from now until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The Utah Jazz are reportedly interested in Porter Jr., who is averaging 12 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 40.3 percent from 3-point range. Porter is in the second year of a four-year, $106.5-million contract.
