Sacramento Kings guard Iman Shumpert was stopped by security from entering the visiting Portland Trail Blazers' locker room in an attempt to confront center Jusuf Nurkic after Monday's 115-107 win, according to The Associated Press.

The two were seen exchanging words during the second half after Nurkic set a hard screen on Shumpert:

"Some stuff needed to be between me and him, a conversation between two men," Shumpert said. "Some stuff happened out there that we needed to have a conversation about. That's it."

Nurkic later responded, suggesting he isn't concerned about the situation.

"I'm not worried about it," he said. "He's going into retirement soon. I just said what I said. I'm not going to worry about a guy who's going into retirement soon."

The 28-year-old Shumpert is providing veteran leadership for the surging Kings, averaging 9.2 points and 2.9 rebounds through 34 appearances.
