Quicken Loans Arena has been anything but a sanctuary for the NBA's worst team this season, especially as of late. Saturday's 133-98 loss to the visiting New Orleans Pelicans was the fifth home game in a row that Cleveland dropped by 20 or more points, extending a horrific streak that no other team has matched.
The Cavaliers are the first team in major professional sports history to lose five consecutive home games by at least 20 points, according to The Athletic's Joe Vardon (via Sportradar). In fact, they were the first team to do so on four occasions, establishing the benchmark on Friday in a 117-91 drubbing courtesy of the Utah Jazz.

Cleveland allowed New Orleans to shoot a sweltering 58 percent from the field while going 14-of-27 from 3-point range and 25-of-29 at the charity stripe. Jrue Holiday and Julius Randle each had 22 points, while Anthony Davis contributed a double-double of 20 points and 10 boards in 29 minutes.
The loss was the Cavaliers' ninth in a row, dropping them to 5-16 on their home floor and 8-32 overall.
