Chandler Parsons has been cleared to play by the Memphis Grizzlies' medical staff, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Parsons was initially expected to return to action this past Friday against the Sacramento Kings but will now be listed as a "healthy-inactive" for the foreseeable future, Charania adds.
The eight-year pro appeared in the Grizzlies' first three games this season, averaging 5.7 points on 41.2 percent shooting in 15.3 minutes of action. He's been sidelined since, missing the Grizzlies' last 29 matchups with a right knee injury.
The 16-16 Grizzlies take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
