A reported three-team trade involving the Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns, and Washington Wizards went through many twists and turns before ultimately getting axed Friday night.
Confusion over which Brooks (Dillon or MarShon) was leaving Memphis for Phoenix led to the deal's demise.
Twitter had a field day once news spread of the poor communication between the three teams:

James Jones just kept typing the word “Brooks” into the Wizards/Grizzlies/Suns group chat and nearly finessed Dillon from it instead of MarShon. I will never forget this night.
