Stephen Curry appears set to make waves in the golf world, with all signs pointing towards the NBA superstar debuting his own line of golf gear and a PGA Tour event in 2019.

Curry mentioned his potential Under Armour line when he and Golden State Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala were guests on the "Winging It" podcast hosted by fellow NBA players Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore. The conversation was dominated by golf as all four are avid players.

During a discussion about on-course style, Bazemore brought up PGA Tour member Gary Woodland's recent departure from Under Armour. Curry responded: "Don't worry, my golf stuff coming out next year."

What might that "stuff" look like?

When Curry participated in the 2018 Ellie Mae Classic on the Web.com Tour, Under Armour tweeted pictures of this exclusive golf-inspired apparel:

In addition to the new gear, Curry continues to inch closer to hosting a PGA Tour event in fall 2019.

Reports of the new Tour stop have been swirling for a while. Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif., is the likely landing spot for the event, according to Ron Kroichick of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Kroichick adds Curry's tournament is slated to be played Sept. 19-22, just before another California event, the Safeway Open.
