L2M report: Refs missed 8 calls in Nets' 2OT loss to Grizzlies

It took all of regulation and two overtime frames, but the Memphis Grizzlies escaped Brooklyn with a 131-125 win over the Nets on Friday night.

But it certainly didn't help the Nets' cause that the officials missed a whopping six calls that should have gone in their favor, according to the league's last-two-minute report.

Here are the missed and incorrect calls that benefited the Grizzlies:

• Nets forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was called for a shooting foul with 26.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter; the league ruled Grizzlies rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. "unnaturally" extended his legs, preventing Hollis-Jefferson from making contact.

• With 23 seconds left in the fourth, Jackson Jr. got away with a personal foul on D'Angelo Russell during the inbound pass, resulting in a turnover in favor of Memphis.

• At the 1:52 mark of the first overtime period, Grizzlies veteran Mike Conley committed a defensive three-second violation that wasn't called.

• A foul away from the play by Memphis' Shelvin Mack went uncalled with 35.4 left in the first overtime.

• Grizzlies center Marc Gasol got away with a loose ball foul while jockeying with Jarrett Allen for a rebound with 20.7 left in the first overtime, allowing the Grizzlies to retain possession.

• Jackson Jr. avoided a personal foul on Allen with 35 seconds left in the second overtime.

The Nets also caught some breaks with Spencer Dinwiddie incorrectly drawing a foul against Conley in the first overtime period and Russell getting away with a travel in the second overtime.
