Let's try this again.

The Washington Wizards are trading Austin Rivers and Kelly Oubre to the Phoenix Suns for Trevor Ariza, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Saturday.

Less than a day earlier, a three-way deal between the Suns, Wizards, and Memphis Grizzlies that would have brought Ariza to D.C. fell through because the Suns thought they were receiving Dillon Brooks from Memphis instead of MarShon Brooks.

After communicating directly with Phoenix, the Grizzlies shut down the deal. "We were floored to learn of the reports involving Dillon Brooks in the reported trade," Memphis general manager Chris Wallace said late Friday. "We never discussed Dillon as part of this trade with Washington - which was the only team we spoke with concerning this proposed deal."

Ariza, who previously played for the Wizards from 2012-14, and Rivers are both on expiring contracts. Ariza became eligible to be traded Saturday because he signed as a free agent last summer, and his veteran 3-and-D profile made him a hot commodity. Washington currently has the 29th-ranked defense in the NBA.

Oubre, 23, is an intriguing player who is due a qualifying offer next summer.

The trade call to make the deal official will happen Monday, reports The Athletic's Shams Charania.
