Raptors' Lowry: I'm 'shooting the ball pretty bad'

Even following the offseason changes that brought Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors, the case can be made that the team's catalyst is still Kyle Lowry. But after a scorching start to the season, the veteran point guard has come back down to earth.

Toronto lost its third straight game Friday - 123-116 in overtime to the Boston Celtics - and Lowry shouldered some of the blame.

"I've been playing pretty bad lately," Lowry said, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg. "Rather, shooting the ball pretty bad lately. I've gotta find a way to get a rhythm and get it back going."

Lowry has shot just 10-for-31 - including 2-for-15 from deep - in the Raptors' three consecutive defeats, including a 1-for-6 performance from beyond the arc Friday. It's a problem that goes beyond the floor general, however. As a team, Toronto has shot a woeful 25.5 percent from 3-point territory during the losing streak.

"That's the ups and downs of the season," Lowry added. "Me personally, I take it really seriously. It bothers me when I don't play well."
