After dropping a career-high 50 points for the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the week, Derrick Rose left Friday's contest against the Golden State Warriors after just five minutes of playing time due to left ankle soreness.
The team announced shortly thereafter that he wouldn't return to the game.
Rose finished the game with three points in his truncated stint, connecting on his lone 3-point attempt and adding a pair of assists for good measure.
