The San Antonio Spurs announced they will officially retire Manu Ginobili's No. 20 and raise his jersey to the rafters of the AT&T Center.

The retirement ceremony will take place after the Spurs host the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 28.

Ginobili, 41, made his decision to step away from the game this past August after spending his entire 16-year NBA career in San Antonio.

The crafty Argentine was drafted 57th overall by San Antonio in the 1999 draft but did not debut until 2002.

Ginobili won four NBA championships alongside fellow Spurs legends Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. He was the 2008 Sixth Man of the Year, a two-time All-Star, and made two All-NBA teams.

He becomes the ninth player to have his number retired by San Antonio, joining the likes of Tim Duncan, David Robinson, and George Gervin.
