It was just the type of outing Klay Thompson needed, and one that a number of his NBA colleagues from around the Association were blown away by.

The four-time All-Star established a new league record by burying 14 3-pointers on 24 attempts Monday night in a 149-124 thumping of the Chicago Bulls by the Golden State Warriors.

The reigning champions dropped 92 points in the opening half, with Thompson converting 10 of his 14 shots from the perimeter through the first two quarters alone.

Several players took to social media to chime in on the Splash Brother's historic shooting performance, as well as Golden State's absurd halftime lead.
