The Minnesota Timberwolves have apparently shown "no inclination to move" on Thursday's reported trade offer from the Houston Rockets, according to Stadium's Shams Charania, which would send four first-round draft picks their way in exchange for Jimmy Butler.

Two currently injured Rockets players are included in the offer, Charania adds: Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss. Both were acquired by Houston from the Phoenix Suns as part of the Ryan Anderson trade in August.

League rules prohibit teams from trading more than four first-round draft picks in one deal, and they cannot trade first-rounders in consecutive years. As such, the proposed package would likely include picks well into the future.

The Rockets won't have the salary-cap space to sign Butler as a free agent next summer, meaning they can only bring him aboard by trading for him now and retaining his Bird rights. Butler was born in Houston and raised in nearby Tomball, Texas.
