Kyle Lowry spoke to the media on Friday about the Toronto Raptors' offseason additions.

"It's been a good (training) camp," Lowry said in Vancouver, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg. "New coach, new players, new system, kind of. Just trying to get everything acclimated."

Although players are under no obligation to speak to reporters during training camp, Lowry hadn't spoken directly to the press since media day. There were some concerns about Lowry's mindset after seeing close friend DeMar DeRozan exit Toronto following the blockbuster trade for Kawhi Leonard.

Lowry has been paired with Leonard in training camp drills this week, and he sounded keen on the reality of teaming up with the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

"We have to be on the same page and I think we're gonna be on the same page," Lowry said of Leonard. "He's a heck of a player."

The Raptors open up their preseason on Saturday in Vancouver against the Portland Trail Blazers.
