LeBron dubs Stephenson-McGee-Beasley-Rondo unit 'MUD'

Soon after the Los Angeles Lakers signed Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Michael Beasley, and Rajon Rondo, the internet had already declared the foursome to be the "Meme Team."

After they posed for a group photo during media day on Monday, Stephenson asked his followers on Instagram for a new nickname, and teammate LeBron James responded with "MUD" - misunderstood, under-appreciated, and determined.

All four players signed one-year contracts with the Lakers this summer as the franchise continues to preserve cap space to make a run at a second max-level superstar to pair with James.
